The 8th Annual Felicitation function of Kakching Khunou Educational Forum was held on Sunday, Sunday, the 23rd June, 2019 at Thingnam Mandop, Kakching Khunou.

Md. Suleiman Daulat Khan (MCS), SDO, Patsoi, Shri M. Meghachandra Singh, President- KKEF and Shri Yengkhom Jivan Singh (MPS – Prob.), OC/IC Waikhong graced the function as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honour respectively.

The Formal function started with the welcoming of the guests by Dr. Ng. Romen Singh, Publicity Secretary, KKEF. Dr. S. Santinath Singh, Ex-President, KKEF delivered the Keynote Address.

Leeklam – the biennial publication of the Kakching Khunou Educational Forum has also been released on this occasion.

Competitions:

  • Mathematics Competition: A Mathematics competition was held one week prior to the event on 16th June, 2019 (Sunday) at Kakching Khunou Govt. High School. Around 300 students took part in the competition.
  • Painting Competition: Keeping its traditions alive, a painting competition was held on 23rd June, 2019 on the eve of the Function at Thingnam Mandop.

Felicitation of Meritorious Students:

81 students of Kakching Khunou who excelled in the Class X and XII examinations conducted by Manipur Board, Council/CBSE/ Other Boards have been felicitated with Mementos, certificates and cash awards.

QUIZ Competition:

5 Teams vied for the top spot in the Quiz competition. Students from Bright Career Academy, Umathel emerged winners, followed by JNV SA and HIM Public School.
