Kakching Khunou Educational Forum (KKEF) congratulates the two International Wushu players from Kakching Khunou – Mayanglambam Suraj Singh S/O M. Saratchandra Singh and M (O) Thoibi Devi of Kakching Khunou Ngaikhong Leikai and Mayanglambam Gyandash Singh S/O M. Bijoy Singh and M (O) Ibemcha Devi of Kakching Khunou Hijam Leikai who won medals in the ongoing 13th South Asian Games in Nepal.
Suraj won GOLD in the MEN’S GUNSHU ALL-ROUND competition while Gyandash settled for Silver in the MEN’S TAOLU TAIJI JIAN event.
Both the players represented India in various international events including the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia and World Wushu Championships 2019 in Shanghai, China. Gyandash had earlier won a GOLD medal at the 2017 BRICS Games held in Guangzhou, China
