Obin has been awarded a sum of Rs 1,00,000 (one lakh) + Rs 25,000 (Twenty five thousand) as cash incentive for being a position holder by a Govt. School student and for being the 2nd topper in Imphal East District in the Higher Secondary Exam 2020. He is currently pursuing Economics Hons. at the D.M. College of Arts, Imphal.
Cash incentives were awarded to Amarjit and Damayanti too for being the 1st and 2nd District toppers of Kakching (Govt. schools) respectively. Both are now studying at International School of Resources (ISOR), Imphal.
